The Asian Elephants have an endangered population, and here's why. Their population is 40,000- 50,000 right now and that's endangered. In some places such as India, Vietnam, and Myanmar have banned capture to save their population. Although India, Vietnam, and Myanmar have banned hunting them other places have not so their population is still dropping in the world. They have not become extinct in the wild yet, but if hunting keeps up, then there will be no more in the wild.
