What would you recommend to the board of NCRCC with respect to adding or changing programming activities like social activities for adults, families with children, and children? It would be recommended to the board of NCRCC that incorporating additional programs for adults, children, and families would assist with increasing membership. According to the survey, the majority of the members, 46 years and younger, wanted to see activities for families (53%), followed by activities for children (47%) and activities for adults (40%) (Cooper and Schindler, 2001). Incorporating activities for all age ranges would benefit NCRCC by increasing its marketability. It is very important for families to be able to participate in activities together. For many households, it is not uncommon for both parents to work, making it difficult to schedule family time together. Activities that promote family togetherness will not only make the family closer, but it will inspire the family to make more time for each other. Possible activities that could be added could be family dances, holiday events (such as visits from the Easter Bunny or Santa Clause), birthday parties, fundraisers for local organizations, and maybe movie nights.
