An athletic trainer is a person who provides injury prevention, emergency care, therapy, and rehabilitation of injury or medical condition. They are the ones who take care of the athlete when injured or coming back from an injury. Athletic trainers tell the athlete whether they are ready to go back to the sport or not. Classes that are helpful to take would be physics, chemistry, biology, and physical education, health, and maybe playing a sport. These course could help anyone understand the basic human anatomy and could possibly help in the athletic training field. Consider classes that can be college accredited, lightening your class workload to be more successful. I asked three very important questions on Athletic Training. The first being “ what is the most difficult aspects of being an athletic trainer?” Her response was “ In many settings, you are working a lot of hours especially at the college and pro-level and sometimes at the high school.(Pietz)” In short not only is the work a difficulty but how many hours you are working clinically and studying. Second question I proposed was “ If you had to summarize the most important thing you’ve learned about athletic training, what would it be?” Pietz states that “...the profession is amazing, there are great people to work with who are very passionate about what they do--But I appreciate the dedication AT’s have to their clients, patients, and athletes.” Lastly I asked “ what is the most important thing other people should know and understand about Athletic Training? Pietz responds “We are a health care professionals, who has an expertise in prevention of
