Auschwitz Death Camps

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be tricked into your own death? This is what Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party did to millions of undesirable citizens. Where this would occur is at a death camp. A\Death camps were created to kill Jews and other unwanted residence in Germany. Auschwitz is one of the most godawful, Nazi controlled death camp in Germany. Auschwitz was opened in the spring of 1940 . Auschwitz was originated as a concentration camp. But soon reckon as a death camp. Not all who came to Auschwitz were on a death sentence; but then soon started hard labor.
Some ways they would kill people is by carbon monoxide, hell vans, or zyklon b! Carbon monoxide was used in many ways. It was used when people bathed carbon monoxide would come out of the shower heads to poison the inmates. Also carbon monoxide was used in hell vans. Hell vans were when they would line up as if you were boarding an airplane. After entering the large van carbon monoxide was released to poison the inmates. Zyklon b gas is a pesticide also used in the same manner as carbon monoxide. …show more content…
There are two different types of creamitorial a civilian one and an Auschwitz one. A civilian crematorial is used one person at a time. The y use this rule for respect of others. Then after this process the crematorial is cleaned. An Auschwitz crematorial was used for burning the dead bodies that were in the gas chambers. When they would burn the people they would try to burn as many people at once. Then after they would not clean it out they would just continue putting bodies in the fire to keep it going. After they were dead they would cut women's hair and take out any teeth that had precious metal in them. They were called Sonderkommando.
