The Daintree Rainforest has a history that stretches more than 135 million years. This rainforest has survived all the natural disasters that have happened over the years for example: volcanoes,the rising and falling of sea levels, glacier movement and cyclonic winds. Government Authorities have also put orders out for people not to set foot in parts in the Daintree Rainforest. The first person to discover the rainforest was Sir Joseph Banks in the early 1770's.
