Flag Pitch Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Ms. Chairperson of the Flag Committee.
Today we are here as I believe in change. I strongly believe we need to change the flag of Australia. Flags are supposed to be designed to possess the power to unite and represent a country, however the current Australian flag does not. The Australian flag is the most important representation of our country. Firstly, the current Australian flag does not unreservedly exemplify all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Secondly, the current flag is extremely old and highly outdated. Finally, the current Australian flag does not fully represent our independence from Britain.
