The Avera PREP experience would allow me to see the behind the scenes of working in a hospital. I was fortunate enough to be able to shadow a labor and delivery nurse at Avera as a senior in high school, which let me to see the process of a caesarian section. This experience allowed me to see that I would enjoy working in labor and delivery but, the Avera PREP experience would allow me to benefit by being able to meet and work with health care professionals for ten days, while still learning about healthcare and its delivery. While watching, the caesarian section was beneficial to me, this program will allow me to see many different areas of medicine. The experience program would allow me to expand upon my resume and give me more field experience
