I think that Aziz Ansari understands how dating works for people under the age of thirty. In his book, he has compared dating with previous generations to today’s generation. Additionally, he knows that dating in this generation is done mainly through texting because that is what he does. This is completely true with my experiences. In Ansari’s book, he had a graph comparing people’s preferred way of communicating; people over thirty felt more comfortable talking on the phone than the under thirty group. Additionally, Aziz said that people under the age of thirty are way more comfortable breaking up or sharing personal information good or bad through text messages. I also know this to be true because my ex broke up with me through text messages.
