Baby Boy is a good pet. He wasn’t always that way, of course. Only recent have I gotten him to stop begging for scraps from the table and convinced him to use the special puppy pads I bought for him. Deep down I think he realizes how lucky he is for me to have found him. I was luckier. When I found him somehow I knew he needed me. The scrappy little guy was all alone, shivering beneath the cover of bus stop overhang. I couldn’t believe that someone had left such a sweet thing out in the cold. I had a responsibility to help him, but make no mistake he was not so keen on his adoption when I put him in the back of my car.
