As the pastor of Amor, Poder y Gracia the church in Washington heights that Lourdes O. Sanchez has been attending, for about 10 years, I can wholeheartedly recommend her as an excellent candidate for your masters in arts of biology program. I find her to be a very reliable, self-motivated and high-quality student who I have also grown to know as a passionate and thoughtful individual. Her inquisitive and hard-working nature is well suited to a graduate program that will challenge her and help her achieve her ultimate goals. Ms. Sanchez’s volunteer duties at church involve: teaching Sunday school to young children, technical direction for all presentations, secretary for the youth department and treasurer for the missionary department; but besides the roles I stated above, the volunteers at our church hold many other roles because the congregation depends on only a few individuals who take their responsibilities very seriously. As her pastor, I have witnessed Lourde’s consistent responsibility to any ministries’ need without hesitation and with good judgment. She always volunteers to participate in any task, large or small.
