Through my life journeys, I have always learned to go out and get it on my own. I am from where your hustle determines your worth. Through the 18 years of my life I have always been ambitious. To me, ambition is wanting and working to fulfill as many of your dreams as possible. Growing up I did not have the usual dreams that a 14-year-old kid had. I was not interested in being a doctor, lawyer, teacher, or anything like that. My mind was set on being my own boss and taking over all aspects of the Hip Hop entrepreneur lifestyle. I looked up to moguls like Sean “Jay Z” Carter and Sean “P Diddy” Combs. Growing up to the upbringing of their empires allowed me to create a clear vision of what it was I wanted to accomplish.
Growing up I wasn’t a spoiled kid at all. Although I lived in a middle class single parent home, my mother still could provide as needed. I was taught if you wanted something that you had to figure out a way to get it and then execute that plan. So when it came to video games, clothes, etc. I was hustling to get it on my own. It was amazing how much I could accomplish when I put something as my priority. Material things drove my hustle and created that money monster inside of me.
When I say I started hustling I don’t mean slanging drugs. Hustling is an umbrella with a million different hustles up under it whether being legal or illegal. For me, it was flipping the hottest electronics, providing services/products, as they were needed. With these hustle schemes brought trouble from the law that gave me a few wake up calls. Through the conclusion of those cases, I had a new state of mind. My mind was set on coming at the world on a professional tip. At that point I put a little class in my hustle.
In early 2012, I created a brand that would tell not only my story but others who basically were chasing their dreams by any means necessary. The brand name is Rich Rebel. With the new business, I was putting myself in good position to fulfill my long-term goal of getting rich and taking over. Turning negative hustle energy into positive hustle energy is the best thing I have done in my life. I was no longer viewed as a stereotype or liability, but as a well-respected young man entrepreneur.

Personally I feel as if my life is just now starting. I have a lot more goals to achieve and a lot more people to prove wrong that doubt me daily. As for my brand, Rich Rebel, I’m currently managing and running two businesses total. I know it seems like a lot but this is only the beginning. Ambition is when your hustle meets your desired dreams. Catch me in about 10 years and you will see the future that I put in place all on my own from being just that, ambitious. An entrepreneur is an individual who owns a firm, business, or venture, and is responsible for its development. Entrepreneurship is the practice of starting a new business or fixing an existing business, in order to capitalize on it’s discovered opportunities. Owning a business is the dream of many Americans ... starting that business converts your dreams into reality. However, there is a gap between dreams and reality. Your dreams can only be achieved with careful planning. As an entrepreneur, you will need a plan to avoid pitfalls, to achieve your goals and to build a profitable business At Georgia State I plan to major in Business marketing.
