Near the end of the summer of 2008, 12 year old child, Bailey Graffman, dies due to leukemia. According to Bailey’s mom, Mrs. Graffman, said that Bailey was a very intelligent girl who was not too good at making friends, but at the beginning of the summer Bailey befriended 15 year old, Tibby Tomko-Rollins. Bailey met Tibby at Wallman’s, the local drugstore in Bethesda, Maryland. While Bailey was at the store, she fainted, and that was when Tibby called the paramedics. After this incident, Bailey started to spend time with Tibby, by helping her make a documentary.
