How many countries have bans for specific pets? Pit bulls are very good at being a family guard dog for their owners, but not for the people who get attacked. Pit bulls should not be allowed to be a family pet because they hurt people and give deadly bites. One reason families should reconsider adopting a pit bull is there are several laws in place that this breed should not be let to have as a pet, additionally in the newspaper it mentions “Miami- Dade County in Florida that has many breed specific laws.
