Working in a low-wage occupation demands a higher effort, and most of time this job are not recognized. A person who works in a low-payment job needs to lead with bills that cannot be covered by its income, and also lead with bosses that treat him or her as nothing. In the “Serving in Florida,” written by Barbara Ehrenreich, demonstrates the struggles of attendants who battle everyday to have a place to live in. Through my own experiences, I agree with the author that citizens who work in a low-wage job are not receiving the income that they deserve.
