Barbed Wolf Story

A young female grey wolf was running away from a large, looming wall topped with barbed wires. She was one of many to escape the notorious prison that night. The other prisoners and guards could be heard shouting out commands and telling others to escape. The young wolf had reached the back field and broke through the tree line, sprinting at full speed. The lead guard was watching her disappear in the engulfing shadows growing across the field. The lead guard, Athena, was stopped from her chase by injured guards being attacked who could not defend themselves from the prisoners. The guard explained it was just a mistreated, frightened child who needed to find someone to trust and who could convince her to get help. Saria agreed after thinking about it and was told she would be brought down when they caught her. 317 was listening in with her hearing abilities and stressing over how to get farther away from that repulsive and hellish place. She had been injured getting over the barbed wire and had cut her lower abdomen. This makes getting far away hard, and the chance of being found higher. She was in a tree when the unit sent her after she found her blood at the base of the wall. Their dog had at once picked up her scent after sniffing it. Bounding in her direction, she rushed out of the tree and ran to try and escape to the river where she could hide her scent. She was getting fuzzy vision from blood loss and struggling to continue running. The medical guard was the first to see her and caught her before she fell when she finally fainted. The guard was at once trying to stop her bleeding, and she was working harder because she did not know how long she had been bleeding for. When she reached the team, 317 was pale and had very faint
