Barbra Kruger is considered a conceptual artist that has shaped her career from the burden of late capitalist consumerism. She uses black and white images and sometimes red text in most of her work. The idea behind her work is to question the viewer on feminism, consumerism, and classism; even though most of her images come from what would be called ‘mainstream magazines’, which is, ironically what she is challenging (8). Her key inspirations are films, television and the conventional circumstances of everyday life. She divides the power of cultural iconography and commercial images. Most of Kruger’s ideas came from a theory of power from Michel Foucault., the theory that “power is everywhere; not because it embraces everything, but because
