He also wrote a military guide and they used it til 1812, at the age 33 in 1763 distarged as a captain. When he first started he voluntintal army was with no pay.

Baron Von Steuben's training help the U.S win the war without him we would have lost and nothing we know today would be the same, maybe even some of us wouldn't be here. Without Baron Von Steuben England would still be in charge we might still be fight with them, no one would really know because we won the war.
