Barry Sanders was one of the greatest running backs of all time. Barry was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 16, 1968. Barry was one of the best running backs in the game of football. He attended Oklahoma State University and played for the Detroit Lions in the NFL. Barry Sanders is a football legend. Barry Sanders excelled in everything athletically but his first love was basketball. His dad however thought he had a better chance of getting a scholarship to college in football. So his father drew Barry towards the game of football. He started playing football in high school and ended up setting the city wide Wichita High school rushing record, rushing for 1417 yards his senior year. In 1986 Barry Sanders started attending Oklahoma State University.
