The battlefield is all muddy because of all the hard rain that had come down from the day just before, and so it has made things very hard and made moving things basically almost impossible (“Battle”). At one o’clock pm on that day, Napoleon was just about to have the assault on the French when he had found out the Prussians were going to the right side of the French flank very slowly (“Battle”). At the end of the battle of Waterloo, Napoleon had lost it all to the Duke of Wellington and his allies of the British, Dutch, and Prussian forces all because he had been surprised out of nowhere and outnumbered by so many on June 18 on 1815 (“Reshaping”). All throughout the war the battle finally ended in June 18 of 1815 and the French had lost thirty six of their generals and seven hundred and twenty of their officers and up to two hundred and twenty to two hundred and sixty French guns had ended up being captured by the enemy (“Battle”). So that is what had happened in the battle of Waterloo. It is still one of the most famous, most celebrated, and most significant battles of all time
