I had been waiting for this day to come. My family and I were very excited to go to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, for the first time. We wanted to go to the beach and go see the seals inside of the water. While we were on the road my sister said “ I wonder if the beach water is cold?” Then I said “well you would have to wait and see until we get there .” We were very excited to arrive because that day was going to be our first time ever going there and having the opportunity to explore and also have the chance to see all the fun rides that they had. After what seemed a long time on the road we finally arrived. We were very excited and also anxious to go take a walk on the sand. Then my sister said “ look at all the rides, and there are also lots of people.” Then we were looking for a parking lot. We went in circles for a couple of times in order to find a place to park the car. Then we finally found a parking lot . When we got off the the car and we began walking toward the entrance. We were very happy to go see the beach , so we first went to the sand area and it was fun just to be walking on the sand . There was lots of water in the beach and …show more content…
We began walking outside of the area they we saw a small area where you are able to wash your feet because of the sand that gets on you . There were lots of people but we needed to be patient for our turn to come. Then it was our turn to to clean your feet to take off the sand we had. After that, we went over to see the rides, but the one I wanted to go set on was out of service. I was a little upset but then I saw that there were people sitting on a chair and a lady began to draw. I wanted for the lady to draw me. There were lots of people but when I got there were not as many people because the lady was finishing their drawings. I sat on a chair and she began to draw me.
