Throughout my freshmen and sophomore year, there have been many leadership opportunities given. In my time during JROTC, we were given an opportunity to become class leader every week and I personally took that opportunity. JROTC teaches you to become a better leader and what to consider when leading. For example, one of them being open-minded, to be able to accept input from your team members. I am currently a Staff Sergeant in JROTC and we were given the task to prepare the Corporals to become a Sergeant, to be an NCO.
