My name is Katlyn Reynolds, I am currently a senior at Danville High School. I play trumpet in the Pride of Danville marching band and concert band. While in this band for 7 years I have been 1st trumpet, had a few leadership positions, been first chair 3 different years, and I have had a couple solos as well. For the 14 years I have been in school I have struggled to figure out what I want to major in, and finally came to the conclusion of being a Radiologist Technician.

I have always known I wanted to go to college, was not sure what. My current plan is to go to a community college to do my basics, then transfer to a university. The goal is to go to The University of Alabama, going there would be a dream come true, but to go there i need to get a scholarship for just one year as a student there is $65,000 a year. Band scholarships are only $1,000. Becoming a tech radiologist will be a dream come true. I have always loved helping others, and being able to solve problems for people. Earning this scholarship would be an honor, and be a dream come true for me.
