Since bees are becoming severely endangered and several resources used daily come from bees and fellow pollinators, there should be more activities that exhibit care for pollinators to help replenish their population. By teaching about their importance, more people may get involved in the cause. Recent studies show that one in three bites of food are dependant on pollination conducted by bees alone. Without pollinators, many commonly used resources would not be obtainable and average lives would be changed completely so as a whole, the community should begin acting upon care for bees to help replenish the population.
Many believe that the collapse of the natural environment will begin with the depletion of bees. "We are taught from a young age that bees carry pollen from plant to plant and flower to flower in a process called pollination. In fact, bees are responsible for pollinating nearly 85% of all food crops for humans, as well as numerous crops that grow the food fed to cattle. Without the honeybee, our

A honey bee can visit up to 1000 flowers in one trip, pollinating 80% of food crops (Parlee Farms.) Crops pollinated by bees range from watermelon to nuts and are not only beneficial to commercial food production. Home gardening is very dependent on pollination since the technology for human pollination is often not available in a home setting. Human pollination, also known as mechanical pollination is a technique used when natural pollination is not desired or applicable. This process is the manual transfer of pollen from one flower stigma to another. While bees help food production for humans, food production for wildlife relies solely on pollinators. Wildlife food such as berries, flowers, and other items similar to these would not be able to grow and bloom in such a vast region and in such bountifulness if it were not for pollinators transporting pollen across such a large
