Beethoven Heavy Metal Music Analysis

In the first video about Beethoven being the heavy metal music of the early 19th century, I liked the classical version of Metallica being played by Chellos on Fire. The were fun to watch and the music sounded pretty cool. I found this video interesting, maybe because the speaker and former band member of Chellos on Fire that is now a conductor of orchestras was making jokes and wearing a Captain America shirt, I don't know. He states that Beethoven had a raw, loud, noisy, and in your face way of composing his music-kind of like how heavy metal is. I never really thought of Beethoven in this way since I don't listen to a lot of classical music. I found it sad that before he was a teenage, he had been beaten twice by his drunk father. Then in his early 30's, he started having hearing problems and by the end of his life he was deaf. Crazy to think of a composer with hearing disabilities. While I do enjoy Mozart over Beethoven, I admire him for being unusual and different and how he refused to change to make people happy. That's probably the only thing I have in common with the musical genius. I found the Lady Gaga/Beethoven comparisons to be hilarious as well.
