Professor Lindquist-Dorr, a professor of history at the University of Alabama, had a phone interview with The Christian Science Monitor because of the renaming of the Morgan hall building. Prof. Lindquist-Dorr states, “Whites across the country breathed a sigh of relief in assuming America’s ‘race problem’ was solved”.
