Benedict Arnold, born on Jan 14, 1741 was an American general in the American Revolutionary War , the Americans really liked Benedict and liked how he was as a general . Arnold who originally fought for the American Continental Army but started working for the British Army while being a general on the American side. He was in command of the fort at west point, New York, Arnold planned to surrender it to the British forces when anything was broken or needed to be replaced he did not do anything about it.
