In “Benjamin Banneker,” Benjamin accomplished many significant things in his lifetime. Some of which include creating the first clock in America, predicting a solar eclipse, and publishing his first almanac. Because of his innovative actions, he proved that people can come from nothing and accomplish a lot.
Initially, in the 1950’s Benjamin took apart his friend's watch to see all of its components and made the first clock in America. In paragraph 3 it says,”He deconstructed the friend’s watch so that he could study its components.
