Beowulf is known as a great warrior in both the movie and the text , but do you think some parts from the film and text might differ? In the movie he is looked up to and loved by many . Everyone likes him execpt for one person that thought he was a joke. Beowulf took it upon himself to kill Grandel which made the man who hated him so much rethink what he thought about him, stating that Beowulf was not a joke. In the book Beowulf is known as a big strong warrior but plenty of people looked at him differently. According to the textbook people thought Beowulf was very cocky and liked to put on a show. Often people say he doesnt kill monsters just for fun he do it for fame , Beowulf is an actually kind warrior. The differences between the textbook and the movie are Beowulf was king of the geats; he kissed grendels mother, and Beowulf cut his arm off.
