Best Team in the World The United States of America are well known for their basketball; furthermore, they have the best basketball league in the world, NBA. There are thirty teams that played in the NBA, but only some of them are the best. If we refer to the size of the stadium, trophies that the team have got until now, legend that have played for the team, and also the value of the team, probably the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Chicago Bulls can be the best team in the world. First of all, Ned Irish first established New York Knicks in 1946, and they are also one of the founding members of the Basketball Association of America (BAA). They played in Madison Square Garden that has 20,917 capacities. Until now, the Knicks have collected 15 trophies, and the last one that they got was in 2013. Moreover, they have some legends that have played for them, and they are Patrick Ewing, Bernard King, and also Walt Frazier. The Knicks outsold the Lakers for the most valuable NBA franchise according to Forbes, their value is around $1.4 billion. Although now they are not as good as there old time, the Knicks are still known for their value. Another team that is considered to be one of the best is the Los Angeles Lakers. Detroit Gern of the NHL first established Lakers in 1947, furthermore, they are first known as the Minneapolis Lakers, and they change the name to Los Angeles Lakers in the 1960. Moreover, their home court is the Staples Center, the stadium can accommodate 19,060 people, and also Lakers have shared the stadium with their rival, Los Angeles Clippers. Until now, Lakers have got 70 trophies, and the last time they got is at 2012. The Los Angeles Lakers also got some legends that have played for them, for example, Jerry West (who is in the NBA logo), Wilt Chamberlain, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Furthermore, the Lakers are the second most valuable NBA franchise according to Forbes, behind the New York Knicks, having an estimated value of $1 billion.
