I think that the Mixed Member Proportional Representation(MMP) is the best voting system. It prevents gerrymandering and strategic voting (voting for the person who’s closest to their first choice if they know their first choice won't win). First Past the Post (FPTP) prevents some people's votes from counting therefore not every votes their first choice. The MMP allows people to vote truly because you can place a different vote for the person in your riding and the whole party. This is a positive because the people may like the person running in their riding but may not like the political party. The seats are awarded by the number of people who voted for that party. For example, say 20% voted red 15%
