To be the best, what does that take? What is needed in your life to be the very best at everything you do? Well let’s look at a professional winner for an answer, "Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war." stated by Donald Trump. What this quote says is, you have to fall to learn, and then when you learn you are better. So this makes me wonder, is it healthy for us to give everyone a trophy? Well in all honesty, I think not, and I will show you why. Why it is that when we push the fact that we are all winners, that we actually start failing as a society. These trophy's do nothing but harm the teens in one way or another. This way of thinking takes the pride away from being a winner. As a scientist, and psychologist said, "Pride does not come from just showing up." this is a quote from Jean M. Twenge. Now what could she mean by this? Well, there is something that happens when you work to be a winner. If you actually make it as far as you wanted to and worked for. When you fall down, you are supposed to get back up and learn from the dumb stuff that caused you to fall. With this logic of everyone wins, there is no "fall" there is nothing to learn from. No one will want to learn new things to become better, because being better doesn't matter. It would be like riding a bike over a padded ground, never getting hurt when you fall. You gain nothing, absolute zero. Without failure, there are no learning experiences and we will become stuck in a rut as a community. How? Easy, we will not learn what we have to fix. In a sport the wins are good, but losses are the best because that means there is more for you to improve or fix. Maybe create in the first place, because you can't fix a problem if you don't know that there is
