That’s what I have always been told by my elders. While this statement true, I still try because I want to be accepted. I realized not long ago that the only reason I wanted perfectly sculpted buttocks was because of this beauty-obsessed culture. I looked back and saw that I was happy and contented with my body until I received a few comments from others that I could look even better if I had a bigger derrière. While I am not closing my doors on a possible Brazilian Butt Lift procedure in the future, I do not think I’m ready for the psychological issues and effects it would have on me. The last question being the most important because it really digs down to what truly is the motivation behind wanting to alter one’s body. “Although initial response to this question almost always is “of course it’s for me,” upon further exploration I find it is often more complicated.
