Bilbo Baggins, in The Hobbit, is classified as a questing hero because he gets “a call” to adventure, assistance from Gandalf and the dwarfs, and he returns home a different and changed person. When Bilbo receives his call to adventure he first is very reluctant to go at first. Gandalf tries his best to get Bilbo to join the adventure and even sends the dwarfs when he says no at first. However, his Took side of him comes out and he goes to fulfill his curiosity. He first meets Gandalf and the dwarfs and does not like the idea of having anything to do with them but eventually he agrees to go. He receives aid from the dwarfs on his journey and occasionally Gandalf will show back up to offer his help. When he returns home he has a great amount
