The reason I picked bill gates as my business leader is because I always looked up to him and saw him as an interesting person. Of course I also picked him because he built one of the most successful companies in the world making him an entrepreneur to. Arguably he is one of the greatest inventors in our time. Bill gates actual name is William Henry Gates the third. He was born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1955. William’s family consisted of high achievers, politics, business and community service. Being the genius that William is, he often became bored of school from how easy it was. His parents were concerned that he would become a loner. Williams parents were strong believers when it came to public education but decide it would best to switch him to a private school. As soon as William was transferred he exceled at science and math and also was doing very well in drama and English too. During Williams stay at his new school, a fundraiser was made to build a computer lab for students to study the workings of computers since they were very new at the time. William became intrigued in computers so much that as soon as he enrolled in to the class his knowledge of computers exceeded that of his teachers in just one week. After he retired he became a full time philanthropist. For those who don’t know what a philanthropist is, it means “a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes”.
