07 March 2015 Have you ever wondered how computers were born? Actually two billion of people use computers every day, portables and desktops computers. The most popular and dominant operating systems on PC are Windows with over 90% in the market, followed by Mac with a 7.54%. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were two great people and owners of those companies who changed everyone’s life with their technology. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were two great American inventors who didn`t finish college. Both inventors were born in The United States the same year but in different states and born in different months. Bill Gates was born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1955, the son of William H. Gates, Sr and Mary Maxwell Gates. Bill Gates still alive today and he`s now 59 years old, and has a large fortune, ranking the first place in the list of the richest men on the planet. Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955, Steve Jobs was adopted at birth by Paul Reinhold Jobs and Clara Jobs. Steve died on October 5, 2011 in Palo Alto, California at 3pm. Steve was 56 years old when he died, due to complications from a relapse of his pancreatic cancer. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were studying the university but both didn`t finish it. Bill Gates at 13 years old enrolled in the Lakeside School, in Seattle, an exclusive preparatory school; this school already had a computer in 1968 so Bill was able to quickly contact whit the machine and dabbling in computer science. Bill met Paul Allen in Lakeside, who later founded Microsoft. Bill Graduated from Lakeside School in 1973, enrolled at Harvard College in the autumn of 1973 and left Harvard in 1976.Steve Jobs studied at Monta Loma Elementary School in Mountain View where he played pranks on others. Though School officials recommended that he skip 2 grades on account of his test scores but his parents elected for him to skip only one grade. Steve then attend to Cupertino Junior High and Homestead High School in Cupertino, California where met Bill Fernandez and where Fernandez introduced Jobs to his neighbor, Steve Wozniak, who share the same interests in electronics with Steve.
