William Henry McCarty Jr. or also known as Billy the Kid was notable for famous outlaw and bank robber. He was born on November 23, 1859 in New York but we are also unsure of his birth place. His mother moved to united stated during the great famine in Ireland. A little later she had found out that she had tuberculosis which is a disease that mainly affects the lungs. It is caused by when someone else with it exposes it on you.

She died a little later and his father also died or left the family it is still unknown to us. He was orphaned at age 15 for the loss of his parents. He was best known for his gun fighter and bank robber and was wanted for the of his two guards. He killed them escaping the guards that sentenced him to death in 1881 …show more content…
He had a stepfather that had the same first name as Billy which was Henry so most of the time he went by Billy or William. He was also always picked on for being small for his age and having very girly hands. He was very skinny and small for his age and for his he was always a little kid. Friends of his said that they never seen anything wrong with him just that he was a ordinary boy and that his life would be turned upside down and never be the same again, said Louis Abraham.
