Father Cry is a very insightful and humbling read. The author, Billy Wilson, begins the book by describing his own testimony and defining the phrase “father cry” as the deep cry in the heart of today’s youth for a father figure to love them and guide them. He makes a point that in order for the world to be healed of this father cry, they must learn to forgive. Only through the grace of God can one find wholeness and happiness in their life. The world is also in desperate need of spiritual fathers and mothers. Today’s youth need spiritual fathers and mothers who are ready and willing to teach them and guide them and prepare them to “pass the baton”.
