The Black Footed Ferret
Some people know the Black Footed Ferret also the Black Eyed Ferret because of the mask like fur that adorns its face. Most tan ferrets also have black markings on their feet ,leg and tail whip. Most sit at 15-20 IN (38-50 CM) and their tail 4.25-5 IN (11-13 CM).
The black footed ferret mostly eats prairie dogs but will eat squalls rats mice and other rodents. which made many well know prairie dog towns grow low and in time they became ghost towns. But the ferrets where not the only cause of this so was farmers with the assistance of the government. This affected the ferrets by lessening how much food was available for them to hunt.
