It never fail when I'm having a discussion with a Black person where their rebuttal doesn't address the context of the narrative I've made but instead they address the semantics of the words I used.

Example: I used the word “SUPPORT” and your rebuttal is against the word support not against the context of my narrative. If I had used the word “LIKE”, “FAVOR”, “SHARE THE VIEW OF” or “DEFEND” then your rebuttal would have been against the use of either of those words.

Example: I used the word “PRIMITIVE” and your rebuttal is against the word primitive not against the context of my narrative. If I had used the word “ABSTRACT”, “CRUDE”, “
NON-FIGURATIVE” or “CONCEPTUAL” then your rebuttal would have been against the use of either of those words.

With the examples I provided in my email like with the question I asked what form of government would you select you made my point for me once again. In stead of addressing the emphasis I was making about these men were you wouldn't want to be ruled by the standards set by their organizations. The point wasn't about the type of art it was, graffiti pictorials are also a form of art but that wasn't the point, I was making the point and discussing how we view ourselves, I also gave an example of the cartoon drawings of the Cosby kids with their exaggerated features when it's known that a white person made drawings of us looking like that we complain and rightfully so.
