Omar Bradley = Omar’s birthday was February 12, 1893 in Clark Missouri. He was a U.S general and an allied combat commander in the second world war. Omar went to West Point for college and graduated in the year of 1915. This was where he gain the ability to be a second lieutenant of infantry. After the first world war, Omar yet again went back to school to learn more about the military. He then graduated from an Infantry School at Fort Benning in Georgia and the Command and General Staff school at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas. In the early life of Omar, he went to many schools to learn military training and commanding ways. He dedicated many years of his life in order to command militaries. Omar then continued his military career when he was chosen as a general for Dwight D. Eisenhower's personal representative at North Africa. Soon after he was the commander of the II corps. He was such a good commander he was then promoted to a lieutenant general. Omar was a such a good leader from all of his training in his life that he eventually became the fourth five star general in the entire American Army. Agent Orange = Agent orange was a toxic substance that was sprayed on unwanted plants in order to kill them. The U.S military sprayed agent orange in the forest during the Vietnam war, to help kill off vegetation that could have been used as possible hiding places for the enemies. The chemicals were dropped from the time period 1962 to 1971. These herbicides were also used in the US Military to help defoliate military faculties in the 1950s. In addition to that some air force members were not shielded from the harmful chemical. Many of the troops and citizens were exposed to this harmful product that was dropped on plants. Most members of the plane C-123 were known to be exposed to the chemical around the years of 1969 to 1986. The exposures to the harmful substance left people questioning their health. This product lead to many diseases including cancer. In the 1970s many health problems were being reported. Some of the problems were rashes on the skin, cancer, birth defects and many others. The department of Veteran affairs and federal law clearly states that the agent orange and other herbicides caused certain diseases. Nowadays the only ways a veteran can get compensation for a disease caused by agent orange is showing signs of the conditions that were previously reported or making a certain connection to the disease and
