Blake walked into the manufacturing company’s office which he worked as the head of the accounting department. There were people from the IRS everywhere. Blake’s boss was being arrested for embezzlement. The other person that was on the arrest warrant was the head of accounting, Blake Howards. After a long court battle that sucked up much of the Howards’ savings, Blake was finally proven not guilty. That was not the end of it. Blake sits in the waiting room at the state penitentiary that he is kept at. He goes up to the window to see his two girls on the other side of the glass. They put their hands up to the glass like they do every other Sunday. Blake talks to them through the black phone that hangs on the wall because that’s the only communication they are allowed. Blake was set up. He was framed as a dealer in a business that he knew nothing about. Jared was the one that sacrificed him to reduce his own sentence. No matter how much Blake Howards tried to change the direction of the slopes that he was put on, he would always be going downhill. In two years he would be with his girls again, but even then, he would be in an even worse situation than he was
