Blazing Saddles is a western satire based on a black sheriff in an all-white frontier town. The sheriff outsmarts and defends the town from thugs, proving to the townsfolk that their racially biased opinions are completely wrong. Blazing Saddles hit the screen in 1974 and was directed by Mel Brooks with stars Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little playing the main characters. Blazing Saddles is definitely one of the greatest comedies of the 1970’s that every stoner should watch.
