She met Keith Batey (a mathematician) at Bletchley Park. She got married in 1942 with Keith Batey but unfortunately her husband died in 2010; they had two daughters and a son named Elizabeth, Deborah and Christopher. Their children had no clue about their parent’s wartime until many years later. She was also regarded as England national heroine and during her work with other code breakers like Alfred Dillwyn she learned to decode the encrypted German code or communications.
