Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence In Children

The children expressed the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence most often. In pretty much every activity, the children were required to move around and learn from physically manipulating objects. They are worked on their bodily-kinesthetic intelligence during their free play time, where they were able to have dramatic play.
The most popular area for the preschoolers varied based on gender. The boys appeared more interested in the toy cars and manipulating them to drive around and on top of other objects. This area may be more attractive to boys since these toys allow a more energetic activity, which boys are prone to do due to hormones and evolutionary programming. The girls in the class tended to play with the dolls and act more as a nurturer. Based on studies done, girls are more likely to want to play with dolls based on their hormones and human nature. One 4- year-old boy was playing in the block section building and destroying the towers he mad. He demonstrated bodily-kinesthetic intelligence by moving the blocks around and using his fine motor skills. He moved around the blocks as in sat on the floor. He also demonstrated intrapersonal intelligence by playing by himself and creating his own sculptures with the blocks. He was enjoying solitude and being able to think on his own. Another intelligence he showed was visual/ spatial intelligence. He was able to demonstrate this by using his imagination in designing different towers and manipulating the objects around. He was also able to organize different sections of his sculpture by leaving open areas and deciding where to place the
