Last night was an aberration from all of the other nights this summer. We had snuck into the Radley’s yard to look for Boo in the windows. Suddenly Mr. Radley came out and shot his gun, scared out of my wits, I ran impotently through the yard scrabbling to get home. Upon making it out of the yard, my fears were not assuaged, Jem had lost his pants and was dragging behind us.
