Summary:

Being homeless is already traumatic enough. When a homeless man loses his dog as well, it feels like his world is ending. In an effort to find his dog, the homeless man slept outside of an animal shelter every night in the hopes that someone would bring his puppy back to him.

Introduction:

Recently, a worker at the County Animal Services had an unexpected guest. At first, it seemed like the homeless man was just another vagrant who wanted a placed to sleep. After a conversation with the man, the worker realized that there was far more to the story than he had originally thought.

After losing his job, his house was foreclosed on. Without family or friends to help him, he ended up on the street. Even though he no longer had a home or money, Rob still had his dog. He had adopted the dog before he became homeless. After he started sleeping on the streets, the dog stayed with him. No matter how difficult life was, Rob knew that his best friend was always at his side.

Unfortunately, this situation had just changed. One night, Rob woke up to realize that his dog, Lulu, had wandered off. She often did this to go to the bathroom, but she did not come back this time. Before long, Rob realized that someone had probably picked up his dog. The only thing he could do was sleep outside of County Animal Services until someone brought his dog into the shelter.

As the employee talked to Rob, he realized he knew the exact dog that Rob was talking about. That morning, someone had brought Lulu in. Unfortunately, the animal shelter had transferred Lulu to a shelter on the other side of
