It also offers “insights into Southern Appalachia’s unique cultural heritage” and beauty that you find along the scenic roadway. This book is similar to Hiking North Carolina because it also offers information about a few of the same sites. However, what makes this non-fictional book unique is that it include hiking information about trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a peaceful roadway carved into the mountains that gives the public access to the Appalachian Mountains and the beauty it has to offer. It provides it’s readers a more bountiful amount of information.
