The Boston Tea Party. December 6th, 1773 was the day where the Boston tea party took place. The British government had these taxes in place that many colonists considered to be illegal and were determined to not pay them, and so this is why the Boston tea party began. Samuel Adams was the leader of this act. He was the one who organized it and gathered 100 or more men to throw tea into the Boston harbor, however he and the other men did not get caught in this act because these American colonists were dressed as indians.
