Rockets have played a big role in our lives whether you notice or not read on to learn. Taking a look at the first rockets, how to make one, and how they’ve changed. Early rockets and their purpose, Rockets in World War Two and their effect, how to make a small liquid fuel rocket, and finally, how rockets have changed over the ages.

First, early rockets, their purpose, and who invented them. The first rocket was invented by the Chinese which were bamboo sticks filled with a mixture of saltpeter, sulfur, and charcoal. After that, other asian rulers like Hyder Ali, Prince of the Morse used the rocket against the British in India. The rocket they had already seen in festivals and other holidays but instead of bamboo it was metal, stick guided, and had a sword attached to it. The British developed their own the Congreve rocket. The British took some of their ideas like the Congreve rocket was stick guided and was meal. The Congreve rocket was the first rocket artillery used by British in the war of 1812. Fun fact,

Captain Walter Dornberg recruited Wehner von Braun (who created the first multi-staged rocket) and seventy-nine other engineers to work on the possibility of weaponized rockets. The V-2 rockets were launched by underground facilities until bombers targeted them, so they switched to mobile rocket trucks. After the war, both the United States and the Soviet Union rushed to grab as much of the rockets as possible for their own rocket programs. German scientist like Wehner von Braun one of “ the Fathers of Aeronautics” went to either the United States of America or the Soviet Union which help fuel their space
