The book “ The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas’’ is a book about what happened in 1933 to 1935 between the German and the Jews. The Book gives us a little Information about only a few things that happened during the Holocaust in the Concentration Camp, and what the Germans did to the Jews. The Book starts where two kids named Shmuel and Bruno. The two became friends But Bruno didn’t know that Shmuel was a Jew and there was a war between Jews and Germans. As the book goes on They Became friends and were happy but then Shmuel’s father has gone missing so Bruno promised Shmuel to find His Father… Or Die trying. “Of course all this happened a long time ago and nothing like this will ever happen again’’(John Boyne,2006, P.216) Even though the Holocaust Happened 70+ years ago, Some people think that another Genocide will happen again soon Of course,Similar things are occurring all around the world here are reasons why another genocide will not happen in this Day of age…show more content… We’re meant to be enemies”( Boyne,2006,P.118). This quote means that the German and the Jews are not supposed to be friends, there supposed to be enemies .People in This Generation know more about what's right or wrong and they won't repeat their mistakes even though there is stuff similar like this going on in the world nothing as horrific as the Holocaust would happen
